Pennington

Pennington is a chilled little coastal town on the KZN south coast, about 65 km south of Durban via the N2, with the old R102 as a slower coastal alternative. Locals nip between Kelso, Sezela, Park Rynie and Scottburgh for daily errands, while out-of-towners from as far as Welkom and Springs roll through on south coast holidays. There is one fast EV charger nearby. Worth a stop: the Selwyn Edwin Nature Reserve, a proper patch of bush and cycads right in the middle of town.
