Penkridge is a Staffordshire market town on the A449 between Wolverhampton and Stafford, with quick M54 access for Birmingham and Telford connections. The town sits along the River Penk with good links to the M6 via Stafford. Local routes serve nearby Wolverhampton in 15 minutes, whilst the parallel A5 offers alternatives to Cannock. St Michael's Church contains a rare medieval stone effigy of an armoured knight.
