Pegswood

Pegswood is a former mining village in Northumberland, four kilometres from Morpeth via the A197. Most visitors arrive from the A1, whilst locals use short routes to nearby Bothal and Longhirst. Newcastle Airport is 20 kilometres away. The village's old colliery railway line now serves as a walking path through the centre.
