Peebles lies 35 kilometres south of Edinburgh along the A703, making it a popular day trip destination. The former royal burgh sits beside the River Tweed in the Scottish Borders, connected eastward to Galashiels via the A72. With around 10 EV charging points and easy town centre parking, it's well-equipped for visitors. All traffic still crosses the medieval Tweed Bridge, creating a charming bottleneck where cars navigate the same narrow 15th-century stone arches.
