Parracombe is a small North Devon village positioned along the A39 Atlantic Highway, about 20 kilometres from Barnstaple via winding moorland roads. Most visitors arrive from the M5 via the A361 North Devon Link Road, using the village as a base for exploring Exmoor's dramatic northern coastline. The village boasts St. Petrock's Church, which contains one of England's finest surviving medieval rood screens.
