Park Rynie

Park Rynie is a small KZN south coast town just off the N2, about 62 km south of Durban, with the older R102 coastal road as a slower alternative through Scottburgh and Umzinto. Most visitors come from Durban or nearby coastal towns for the day, and there's one public fast charger in the area for EV drivers. Locals rate the tidal pool, carved into the rocks and refreshed twice daily by the tide, as the best spot for a swim or a bit of shore fishing.
