Paradise, CA

Paradise is a small Sierra Nevada foothill town about 90 miles north of Sacramento, reached via Highway 99 to Highway 70 or directly from Chico on scenic Skyway Road. The Mediterranean climate and 1,800-foot elevation create hot summers and mild winters. Most visitors arrive from the Central Valley or Bay Area, while locals use winding mountain roads connecting nearby foothill communities. The town features an unusual grass airstrip right in its center at Paradise Skypark Airport.
