Over Peover is a small Cheshire village 15 miles south of Manchester, reached via the A535 from Junction 18 of the M6. The area offers convenient access to Knutsford, Tatton Park, and Manchester Airport (12 miles away). St Lawrence Church houses a remarkable 700-year-old wooden effigy of Sir Ralph de Peover, one of England's few surviving medieval wooden knight sculptures.
