Oughterby is a small Cumbrian village about 10 miles southwest of Carlisle, reached via the A595 and local roads through Kirkbampton. The area sits on the Solway Plain's rolling farmland, with the B5307 providing western access and the M6/A596 route serving southern approaches. With over 40 EV charging points nearby, it's well-positioned for exploring Hadrian's Wall country. St. Michael's church contains Norman stonework believed to incorporate Roman stones from the ancient wall.
