Orlestone is a small Kent village on Romney Marsh, reached via the A2070 from Ashford (15km) or the M20 at Junction 10. The flat marshland setting offers mild coastal weather and easy access to both Canterbury and the Channel ports. Its defining feature is the Royal Military Canal, a 28-mile Napoleonic-era defensive waterway that still marks the village boundary.
