Old Pentland
Scotland
Scotland
Old Pentland perches on Edinburgh's southern edge along the A702, where the city meets the Pentland Hills. Most reach it via the A720 bypass at Lothianburn junction, about 8km from the city centre. The A702 continues south toward the Borders, whilst local roads connect to Hillend and the Regional Park. With over 200 EV charging points nearby and Edinburgh Airport 15km northwest, it's well-positioned for both local trips and longer journeys. The area's claim to fame is neighbouring Hillend's artificial ski slope, Scotland's longest-running dry ski facility since 1965.
