Old Fold is a residential area in central Gateshead, just south of Newcastle across the Tyne. Access via the A1 to Junction 67, then A194(M) toward Gateshead. The A184 connects to Sunderland whilst the A692 heads west. Over 400 EV charging points serve the wider area, and Newcastle Airport is 15km northwest. The streets feature characteristic early 20th-century terraced housing built for local industrial workers.
