Ola is a small Arkansas River Valley town of about 900 people, located 60 miles northwest of Little Rock via I-40 and Highway 10. The main route brings visitors along Highway 10 from Russellville, while scenic Highway 7 passes nearby, attracting motorcycle tours and scenic drivers exploring the Ouachita foothills. The town hosts the annual Ola Stinker Train Festival, celebrating a vintage locomotive that earned its memorable nickname hauling livestock cars through the valley.
