Nunclose is a small Cumbrian settlement on the A689 between Carlisle and Brampton, offering easy access to both the Lake District and Scottish Borders. Most reach it via M6 Junction 42, then 8km west on the A689. The village sits near Carlisle Lake District Airport and the River Eden, with the famous Armathwaite railway viaduct's red sandstone arches visible from the settlement.
