Noss Mayo is a small Devon village on the River Yealm estuary, reached via narrow lanes off the A379 from the A38. Popular with day-trippers from Plymouth (15km), it's known for boats moored in the sheltered creek and woodland walks. The 14th-century Ship Inn sits directly on the water's edge, accessible only by footpath.
