Nocona is a small Texas town of about 3,100 people located 15 miles south of the Oklahoma border in Montague County's rolling prairie. From Dallas-Fort Worth, take US 380 west to Decatur, then US 82 northwest for 45 miles. The town sits right on US 82, which provides easy east-west access, while State Highway 103 connects north-south to Bowie. The Nocona Boot Company has been handcrafting cowboy boots in the same downtown factory since 1925.
