Newton Saint Petrock

Newton Saint Petrock is a small Devon village reached via the A388 from Bideford, about 15km south. The A39 provides alternative access through local roads near Shebbear. Set among typical Devon farmland with hedgerow-lined fields, it's surrounded by agricultural communities like Milton Damerel and Shebbear. The village is named after Saint Petroc, a 6th-century Cornish saint who founded numerous churches across Devon and Cornwall.
