New York Mills is a small city in central New York's Mohawk Valley, easily reached via I-90 to Exit 31, then north on Route 233 to Route 5A. It sits between Utica and Rome along a busy commuter corridor. Griffiss International Airport is 8 miles away in Rome. The downtown preserves several 19th-century mill buildings along Sauquoit Creek, including the restored Erwin Park Mill complex.
