Nether Silton

Nether Silton is a North Yorkshire village nestled between the Dales and North York Moors, reached via country lanes from the A19 corridor. Most visitors arrive from Thirsk or through Over Silton, whilst locals use the network of minor roads connecting surrounding hamlets like Kepwick and Cowesby. The village church houses a remarkable 12th-century Green Man carving, considered amongst the finest medieval stone work in the region.
