Nether Monynut

Nether Monynut lies in the Borders countryside, about 15km northwest of Berwick-upon-Tweed amongst the Lammermuir Hills. Reach it via the A1 then local roads through Abbey Saint Bathans, or from Edinburgh in roughly an hour. The settlement's name comes from the Scots "nether" meaning lower, marking it as the surviving half of what were once upper and lower communities.
