Naust is a small Highland settlement on Loch Ewe's shores, reached via the A832 from Inverness (260km, 3.5 hours). It's a stopping point on routes to Gairloch and the North Coast 500, with short local connections to Poolewe and surrounding crofting communities. The loch retains concrete remnants from its wartime role as a major naval anchorage.
