Nassawadox is a small Eastern Shore town of 590 people along US Route 13, Virginia's main north-south highway on the Delmarva Peninsula. The route connects south to Norfolk via the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel and north to Maryland's Salisbury. EV charging is limited, so plan accordingly for longer trips. The town's name comes from a Native American word meaning "between streams."
