Mullion sits on Cornwall's Lizard Peninsula, about 12 miles south of Helston via the A3083. Most visitors take the A30 to the A394 through Helston, then follow signs southward. The village serves as a base for exploring dramatic Atlantic coastline and sits near RNAS Culdrose helicopter base. The parish church contains exceptional medieval carved bench ends, some over 500 years old, depicting jesters and mythical creatures.
