Moynalty

Ireland

Ireland

Moynalty is a quiet County Meath village about 70 kilometres northwest of Dublin, sitting on gentle farmland between Kells and Navan. Take the M3 to Junction 7 near Navan, then follow the R147 west through Nobber to reach the village on the R194. Most locals head to Navan for shopping, about 20 kilometres southeast, though Kells is closer at 15 kilometres west. The village comes alive each August for the Steam Threshing Festival, where vintage agricultural machinery and traditional farming demonstrations draw crowds from across Ireland to celebrate rural heritage.
