Mount Ephraim

Mount Ephraim is a small East Sussex settlement perched on the High Weald between Uckfield and Framfield. Reach it via the A22 from Brighton or London, turning east at Uckfield onto country roads, or take the A272 from Haywards Heath. Electric vehicle drivers will find over 100 fast chargers in nearby towns. The village takes its biblical name from 19th-century developers who favoured grand religious titles for elevated Wealden locations.
