Moordown

Moordown is a residential area in north Bournemouth, about 4km from the town centre on elevated heathland typical of inland Dorset. Access is primarily via the A3049 Wimborne Road, connecting to the A31 for longer journeys, whilst Castle Lane East and West handle local traffic between neighbouring districts like Charminster and Winton. The area has roughly 100 public EV charging points nearby. The distinctive Victorian water tower on Castle Lane East remains a notable local landmark after more than a century.
