Monktonhall lies just east of Edinburgh in East Lothian, forming part of the Musselburgh area along the Forth coast. Take the A1 from Edinburgh or Glasgow via the M8, exiting at the A6124, or use the scenic A199 coast road. Over 150 EV charging points serve the area around Musselburgh and Fort Kinnaird. The site sits on former Monktonhall Colliery land, once Scotland's last deep coal mine.
