Moneenroe

Moneenroe is a handy spot along the N78 between Kilkenny city and Athy, making it a natural stopping point for drivers heading to Dublin or the southeast. The village has decent charging facilities with over 20 fast chargers nearby, which is grand for electric vehicles on longer journeys. You can also reach it via the R418 from Castlecomer if you're coming from that direction. The post office still operates from the same traditional stone building where it's been serving locals for more than a century.
