Monasterevin

Monasterevin sits where the Grand Canal meets the River Barrow in County Kildare, about 60 kilometres from Dublin via the M7. The town's perfectly placed for journeys between the capital and the southwest, with the N80 connecting south to Carlow and Waterford. There's decent charging infrastructure for electric cars, with around 40 fast chargers in the area. The real draw here is the magnificent stone aqueduct from 1785, where you'll see canal boats sailing overhead while the Barrow flows underneath.
