Mitcheldean lies in the Forest of Dean, a former mining town reached via the A4136 from Monmouth or the A40/M50 from Worcester and Ross-on-Wye. The B4224 connects south to Cinderford through ancient woodlands. With approximately 60 EV charging points nearby, it's well-equipped for electric vehicles. The town once housed a massive Rank Xerox factory that exported photocopiers globally until the 1990s.
