Melvaig perches on Scotland's wild northwest coast at the tip of the Rubha Reidh peninsula. Reach it via the A832 from Inverness to Gairloch, then the narrow B8021 for the final 15 kilometres through Highland scenery. About 3 EV charging points serve the wider area, so plan accordingly. The village hosts Rubha Reidh Lighthouse, a 1912 beacon now converted to a hostel where guests sleep in the former lighthouse keeper's quarters.
