Melkbosstrand

Melkbosstrand ligs so 30 km noord van Cape Town langs die R27, met that lekker wide-open West Coast feel and Table Mountain shimmering across the bay. It's a quick hop from Milnerton, Atlantis, or Durbanville for a beach day, but you'll also spot cars from as far as Hartenbos or Kamieskroon passing through on longer West Coast road trips. About 7 fast chargers are dotted nearby if you need a top-up. Fun fact: British troops landed on this very beach back in 1806, before the Battle of Blaauwberg, with a small monument still marking the spot.
