Meikle Wartle is a small farming village in Aberdeenshire, about 30km northwest of Aberdeen via the A96 and local roads through Inverurie. The settlement sits in the Garioch's agricultural heartland, surrounded by barley fields with views of the distinctive Bennachie hill. Local roads connect it to neighbouring villages like Durno and Rothienorman, whilst the A96 provides the main route for longer journeys to Aberdeen or Inverness. The village lies within sight of Bennachie, the multi-peaked landmark that has guided travellers across this part of Aberdeenshire for generations.
