McIntosh, MN

McIntosh is a small farming town of 847 people in northwestern Minnesota, sitting along Highway 2 about 30 miles northeast of Crookston. The area experiences typical Minnesota continental weather with harsh winters and warm summers. Highway 2 connects west to Grand Forks, North Dakota (45 miles) and east toward Bemidji (90 miles), while Highway 32 runs north-south through town. The community still operates one of Minnesota's original grain elevators from the early 1900s.
