Marshfield is a small county seat in southwestern Missouri, about 25 minutes northeast of Springfield via Highway 38. The town sits in rolling Ozark foothills and serves as a hub where Highway 38 meets Highway 125 from Interstate 44. Most visitors arrive from Springfield or use it as a waypoint between larger Missouri cities. The 1936 Webster County Courthouse dominates the historic town square with its distinctive Depression-era architecture.
