Marnhull sits along the A30 in north Dorset, easily reached from the M3 via the A303 and A30 through Salisbury. The B3092 offers a prettier route from Gillingham through typical Dorset villages. Hardy fans will recognise the Crown Inn as the Pure Drop from "Tess of the d'Urbervilles."
