Marlette, MI

Marlette is a farming community of 1,850 people in Michigan's Thumb region, surrounded by corn and soybean fields. Take M-53 north from I-69 (about 75 miles from Detroit) or use M-46 for east-west access to Saginaw or Port Huron. The town's restored 1920s movie theater still operates with its original Art Deco interior.
