Mapleton is a prairie town of 1,350 people located 15 miles west of Fargo on I-94. Take Exit 343 to County Road 18 for direct access from the interstate. The surrounding Red River Valley farmland creates expansive views across some of America's most productive agricultural region. The town runs its own municipal liquor store, a uniquely North Dakota tradition.
