Madison is a small farming town in north-central Missouri, reachable via US Highway 24. Most visitors come from nearby Moberly (15 miles east) or Paris (12 miles west), while longer trips connect through Columbia via US-63. The town sits in rolling agricultural country and is home to Omar N Bradley Airport, named for the WWII general born in the area.
