Lower Vagg is a small Somerset village five kilometres northwest of Yeovil, accessed via the A37. The settlement sits in rolling countryside typical of the area, with working farms still operating nearby. Local routes connect to the A303 trunk road through Yeovil for longer journeys, while the A372 provides access toward the M5. The 13th-century parish church of St. Andrew features a distinctive Norman doorway.
