Lower Lydbrook
England
Lower Lydbrook lies in the Forest of Dean along the River Wye, reached via the A4136 from Ross-on-Wye or through the A466 Wye Valley route. Popular with cyclists and walkers exploring the forest trails, the village retains much of its Victorian character from its mining heritage. The seven-arch railway viaduct, now a footpath, offers excellent river views and remains the village's most photographed landmark.
