Louisville is a Boulder County city between Denver and Boulder, connected by US Highway 36. The former coal mining town sits at 5,300 feet elevation with 300+ sunny days yearly. Highway 36 provides direct access to Boulder (8 miles) and Denver (20 miles), while State Highway 42 runs through downtown. Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport is 10 miles south.
