Longthwaite

Longthwaite lies in a quiet Lake District valley, reached via the A592 from Penrith or through Pooley Bridge. The M6 Junction 40 provides the main motorway connection, whilst local routes include the scenic B5320 from Greystoke. The village church houses a rare Saxon cross fragment built into its medieval walls.
