Locharbriggs is a residential area just north of Dumfries, accessible via the A76 from Glasgow or the A701 from Edinburgh. The B725 runs through the village centre, connecting to the main trunk roads. Electric vehicle drivers will find around 25 fast chargers nearby. The village sits beside one of Scotland's largest sandstone quarries, which supplied red stone for the Scottish Parliament building.
