Llanyrafon forms part of Cwmbran in Torfaen, easily reached via the A4051 from M4 Junction 25A. The A4042 provides the main north-south route through the area, whilst local roads connect to neighboring communities like Croesyceiliog. With over 150 public EV charging points nearby, it's well-equipped for electric vehicles. The nearby Cwmbran Boating Lake features a distinctive 1970s art deco pavilion.
