Llanmadoc perches on Gower Peninsula's northern coast, overlooking the Loughor Estuary's salt marshes toward Carmarthenshire. Drive via the A4118 through Gowerton, then the B4295 along the estuary - about 15km from Swansea centre. It's a peaceful base for exploring Gower's quieter northern shores, with decent EV charging coverage across the peninsula. The village church houses one of Wales's few surviving complete medieval rood screens.
