Llanfaglan
Wales
Llanfaglan is a small Gwynedd village 4km south of Caernarfon, reached via the A487 coastal trunk road. Most visitors arrive from the A55 expressway via Bangor, whilst locals use minor roads connecting to Bontnewydd and other nearby communities. The maritime climate brings mild temperatures year-round, with Snowdonia providing a dramatic mountain backdrop to the green coastal lowlands. The village takes its name from the ancient church of St. Baglan, dedicated to a 6th-century Welsh saint.
