Livonia is a suburban city in Wayne County, about 20 miles west of Detroit via I-96. The city sits between two major interstates - I-96 on the north and I-275 on the east - making it highly accessible. Most visitors use the Farmington Road exit off I-96 to reach the main commercial areas. Local routes include Eight Mile Road, Seven Mile Road, and Plymouth Road for cross-town travel. The city features over 1,400 acres of parks and operates Whispering Willows, one of Michigan's largest municipal golf courses with 27 holes.
