Link Top occupies the eastern slopes of the Malvern Hills, merging with Great Malvern and North Malvern in this historic Worcestershire spa town area. The A449 provides the main route through to Worcester, whilst the A4104 connects eastward across the county. Popular drives include Worcester for shopping (8 miles) and longer trips south via the M50 to Gloucester or the Welsh borders. The settlement's name derives from its position atop the original link road connecting Malvern's scattered hillside communities.
