Lee Moor is a small Dartmoor village known for its china clay quarries, reached via the A386 from Plymouth in about 20 minutes. The white clay workings have scarred the landscape here since the 18th century, creating an unusual industrial scene against the moorland backdrop that's visible from miles away.
